In our last blog post, the Origin Solutionistas shared our favorite productivity tools with you. In this edition of Smart Talk, we wanted to share some marketing-specific tools we recommend to clients to help them work on their businesses, not in their businesses.
Buffer (Again!)
Yup, our favorite social media management tool made this list, too! Last post, we focused on how Buffer can help you stay productive. And that’s valuable. But the heart of Buffer’s capabilities lay in its scheduling and performance tools.
Buffer allows you to draft and schedule posts for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google+ simultaneously. Upload images, videos, and links to articles you’d like to share. Buffer automatically shrinks links to save you characters (a plus for posting to Twitter). Once your posts publish, you can track their performance with Buffer’s analytics tool. See who’s seen, liked, commented, and shared your posts.
Constant Contact
The ol’ email marketing warhorse. We love Constant Contact. It’s mobile-friendly templates and editor make creating and sending emails a breeze. But did you know Constant Contact can also help you manage and promote events (including payment!), perform surveys, and set up automated emails so you can keep in touch with new and existing clients?
Constant Contact also integrates well with your other web tools. Connect it to your WordPress site to capture and manage leads. Sync your social media accounts to Constant Contact to share your eNewsletter or event invitation with your social networks.
A Great Team
Yah, it’s kind of cheesy. But a great marketing team is one of the most valuable marketing tools you can invest in. You started your business out of a passion for your products and services, not to become self-made marketing expert. Working with an outsourced marketing team empowers you to focus on perfecting your product and managing your business while knowing your marketing is expertly taken care of.
Want a great team on your side? Partner with the Origin Solutionistas! We’d love to learn how we can help. Let’s talk!
